The smartphone market of today is filled with the likes of iPhones, Redmis, Galaxies, and Pixels. People swear by these phones as being one of the best in their segments. However, little do we know that Xiaomi had been cooking wonders all along when it decided to present the world with its latest addition: The Xiaomi Poco M3.

POCO smartphones really have exactly the power and balance that the user wants. At the same time, the devices are pleasing, as they are definitely better than expected.

The POCO M3 is no exception. It is already obvious from the start that the smartphone will become a bestseller. Firstly, users will receive a high-quality smartphone at a fair price, and secondly, POCO M3, having made noticeable sales, will force other manufacturers to catch up in quality and characteristics.

So let us dive right into this new gadget from Poco.

Meet the POCO M3

The Xiaomi owned sub-brand, Poco has every sweet thing that Xiaomi has to offer, minus the Xiaomi ads and the push notifications. It runs on the MIUI and offers people better hardware than the Xiaomi brand itself. Some of the Poco phones in the market have been performing better than the Notes and Galaxies out there. What's more, all the phones from Poco are sure to hit that soft spot in you with their pricing. The Poco M3 is no different and has been rightfully termed as the hottest launch of the season. It has everything it needs to become one of the best-selling phones of this year; battery life, camera, screen, and oh yes! Stereo speakers! You get access to these features with a price tag which is sure to make Apple users jealous.

The Xiaomi Poco M3 surely packs a huge punch for its price. The first thing you will notice about this phone is the unconventional looks, which is so different from the way we expect smartphones to be. The back has a plastic cover which actually feels like leather and is also grippy too. It also has a large size glass at the back with Poco's branding present. At the price you are getting this phone for, people would expect the specs of the phone to be watered down. However, the M3 manages to tick all boxes, when it comes down to a standard smartphone.

First Impressions

The first thing you would notice about this phone is that it's pretty huge. Although the overall design is muted a bit, there are nice touches here and there which gives this phone the look and feel of a premium smartphone. The leather plastic feels on the back enables you to hold the phone with ease with it not slipping easily. It has a triple camera setup which is in a large rectangle and has the Poco branding present there too. The phone has branding at the bottom of the back also. I guess Poco just wants people to turn heads and recognize their brand. So far so good.

The front of the phone has a speaker grill, a headphone jack, and an opening for a mic. The bottom part also has cutouts for speakers, a mic, and a USB C charging port. One would not find dual speakers at this price, however, have we mentioned that Poco loves treating their customers? The phone has a Sim tray for dual sim cards and also a micro-sd card slot. The phone also has an inbuilt fingerprint scanner which is built on top of the power button.

Why Should I Be Buying the Poco M3

If the specifications are not enough for you, let me tell you the price. The M3 was launched in the US with a price tag of $150! Final thoughts

The POCO M3 handles games like COD and PUBG with ease. Users can expect to get a steady 30FPS while gaming. The large display comes in useful when you are consuming media or watching videos on your phone. At the price point at which it is being offered, the appearance and build quality of the phone is laudable. You may not ask for more in appearance and build quality.
