Coding for carrots

One of the most popular google doodles was created from scratch using the scratch programming language by the google doodle team in 2017. As well as learning scratch, this is an addictive game where you use commands to collect carrots with your rabbit and reach higher levels.

PAC MAN / Google

 

PAC MAN

A Classic created and released in 1980 by the Japanese company Namco and released as a google doodle game in 2010 on PAC MAN's 30th Birthday as a tribute to the renowned computer video game. The PAC MAN grid designed as the word Google and to play this game, you have to click the insert a coin button.

 

Marcin Wichary, a senior UX designer and developer, said "PAC-MAN seems like a natural fit for the Google homepage. They're both deceptively straightforward, carefully hiding their complexity under the hood. There's a light-hearted, human touch to both of them. And we can only hope you find using Google at least a quarter as enjoyable as eating dots and chasing ghosts. You know, without actually needing any quarters."

Loteria

An interactive game released by the google doodle team is a game of chance. Loteria is only the second multiplayer game ever released by Google. Originating in Italy became very popular in Mexico and other Latin countries. The card game officially copyrighted in Mexico over 100 years ago.

Quick, Draw! / Google

 

Quick, Draw!

An online game created by google released in 2016 where players have to draw an object or an idea that uses Artificial Intelligence which guesses what the drawing is.

 

The game player has 20 seconds to complete the drawing. If the Artificial Intelligence computer recognizes your picture correctly, you will earn a point.

Garden Gnomes / Google

 

Garden Gnomes

Google released this game in 2018 to celebrate the history of Garden Gnomes. Players have catapult garden gnomes and collect points as you decorate your garden with flowers.

 

Garden Gnomes first recorded in the 13th century in Anatolia now known as Turkey became popular in Germany 19th century.

Fischinger

Oskar Fischinger was a well known visual artist and filmmaker from the 1920s to 1940s. The Google doodle team released this game to celebrate the life of an influential figure. 

 

The interactive doodle invites users to create their visual music. You have a choice of four instruments to select and watch your music turn in to a visual masterpiece.

Rubik Cube / Google

 

Rubik's Cube

In 2014 Google released the doodle game to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the classic Toy invented by Hungarian sculptor Erno Rubik.

 

This game is super addictive and will keep you entertained; you can click to twist the cube, and google tracks how many moves you make. Good luck in trying to solve the cube!

Scoville / Google

 

Scoville

Wilbur Lincoln Scoville born in Connecticut in 1865, was a chemist and award-winning researcher. Wilbur wrote a book called The art of compounding claiming that milk was an antidote for Pepper heat.

 

The doodle team created this interactive game to celebrate Wilbur Scoville's 151st Birthday where users try to defeat the pepper by throwing ice cream at it freezing the pepper into an ice cube!

Hip Hop / Google

 

Hip Hop

This game published in 2017 celebrating the 44th anniversary of the birth of Hip Hop. Starting in 1973, Kool Herc a Jamaican-American DJ played a back to school jam in the Bronx, New york. Kool Herc's friend Coke La Rock grabbed a microphone and hyped the crowd, which is Hip Hop's birth.

 

The game consists of Interactive Turntables where you can select a beat, scratch and crossfade. There is a tutorial that will show how to play.
